Bakcell, has launched a new service called ‘SMS2EMAIL’ that allows customers to send texts messages to any e-mail address via SMS. To use the service the subscriber needs to create SMS message with [email protected], then enter text after a space and send it to 9000 short code; for example:[email protected] Hi, let’s meet at 10.30. All messages will come to the recipients from Bakcell’s e-mail address +99455ХХХХХХХ@sms2email.bakcell.com; XXXXXXX, in fact is the mobile subscriber’s own number. The recipient can reply by sending a standard SMS-message or by calling the sender. The cost of sending a SMS to Bakcell’s short number 9000 is AZN 0.09 (45 contours), VAT inclusive. Bakcell in the last 12 months has significantly expanded and enhanced its network and more than doubled its coverage into every region of Azerbaijan. Bakcell has nearly 2 million active subscribers.
