What is an eSIM?
An eSIM is a new generation digital SIM embedded directly into mobile devices.
Can I change my current SIM card to eSIM?
Yes, you can. Just visit one of the Bakcell Customer Care Centers or Dealer stores and request the eSIM duplicate of your number. Don’t forget to take your ID card. The service fee is 7 ₼.
Starting from 23.07.2024 the price of duplicate will cost 7 AZN.
The duplicate service is free for “Business” numbers.
Where can I get/activate eSIM?
To activate eSIM, please visit one of the Bakcell Customer Care Centers or Dealer stores. Don’t forget to take your ID card. The list of addresses that provide eSIM service is HERE.
Are voice calls, SMS, data service available with eSIM?
Yes, eSIM can be used for voice, SMS, data and other mobile network services that you always benefit from.
What's the difference between an eSIM and SIM?
If you have eSIM, you do not need plastic SIM card. An eSIM is new generation technology embedded into a smartphone. All services provided over SIM cards are available with eSIM as well.
Can I use my eSIM number on another smartphone?
Yes, you can remove your eSIM number from the currently used device and install it on your new device 5 times during 6 months.
How can I deactivate eSIM from my stolen/lost smartphone?
If your phone has been lost or stolen, please visit the nearest Bakcell Customer Care Center to request the duplicate of your number.
